Getting Started
How to bring JamEMR to your practice. JamEMR is currently deployed through a guided pilot program — here is what the process looks like from first contact to go-live.
Where JamEMR is today
JamEMR is in its pilot stage. It is running with pilot practices under guided deployments, and we are onboarding new practices deliberately rather than broadly. There is no self-service signup yet — every deployment is scoped, installed, and validated with our team. We think that is the right way to put an AI-native EMR into clinical use.
If you are evaluating JamEMR, this page describes exactly what happens after you reach out.
The pilot onboarding path
- Contact us. Email [email protected] with a short description of your practice: specialty, approximate patient volume, number of clinicians, and your current EMR (if any).
- Scoping call. We schedule a call to understand your workflows, what you want from ambient documentation and clinical AI, and what a successful pilot looks like for you. This is also where we discuss hardware and deployment requirements.
- Pilot agreement and BAA. Before any protected health information is involved, we execute a pilot agreement and a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). We do not handle PHI without a signed BAA in place.
- Guided deployment. Our team deploys JamEMR into your environment, including the local AI inference hardware that keeps patient data processing inside your practice. Deployment is validated jointly before any clinical use.
- Training. Clinicians and staff are trained on charting, encounters, scheduling, and the AI-assisted workflows. Training is role-based — front desk, clinical, and administrative staff each get what they need.
- Go-live. We start with a controlled go-live, stay closely engaged through the first weeks, and expand usage as the practice is comfortable.
What we ask of pilot practices
- A named point of contact for the pilot.
- Willingness to give honest feedback — pilots shape the product.
- Agreement to the data-handling terms in the pilot agreement and BAA.
Who JamEMR fits right now
Our current focus is outpatient clinics and small-to-mid-sized practices. If that is you, we would like to talk. If your organization is larger or hospital-based, reach out anyway — we will be honest about timing and fit.
